Looking for info around the leaders [ Trimble Raven, SST ] etc..of Precision Ag hardware devices that are installed in the applicators, do they have an OS running on them?, if so what? Are they closed architecture, and or open with any SDK’s
thanks

I would refer you to speak with Ryan Eby of Site Specific Management... he is an expert on these devices and their software.
Each manufacturer approachs this in a unique way. In the era of Windows consoles, often you could find relatively open architecture. Due to service concerns, reduced list prices, streamlined CAN traffic, CPU loading concerns, etc; most of today's consoles use an architecture allowing for some interoperability, either through ISO 11783 - 06 virtual terminal protocol, SDK's or both. You should contact the manufacturers directly and ask specifics to understand the potential to accomplish your specific functionality.
thanks so much for the reply and intel..Make it great day
